Modiewark HV Proximity Tester for High-Voltage Safety

The Modiewark HV Proximity Tester Model MWB is a non-contact voltage detection solution designed to help electrical professionals identify the presence of voltage from a safe distance. The tester provides both audible and visual indications, helping operators recognise detected voltage even in noisy or demanding work environments.

The MWB model provides selectable detection settings for OFF, 240V, 3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV, 22kV and 33kV. Its easy selection wheel allows the required detection value to be chosen quickly on site, while the self-test function helps verify that the tester is operating appropriately before use.

Audible and Visual Voltage Detection

Designed for practical field use, the Modiewark features an 85dB buzzer for audible voltage detection and a bright red detection light for visual indication. The voltage source detection values can be identified from approximately 200mm to 300mm away from the voltage source.

The orange tester measures 23cm x 10cm x 10cm, weighs 900g and operates between -10°C and 65°C. It is suitable for combining with most insulated sticks and is supplied with three C batteries to help keep the unit ready for on-site use.

Complete Electrical Safety Kit

The Electrical Safety Kit 2 combines the Modiewark tester with components designed to create a hot stick for attachment to the tester. It includes two 700mm extension sticks, Hot Stick Sunrise Adaptors, a Hot Stick End Cap and an orange PVC rescue carry bag for convenient storage and transport. The kit also includes a Modielive EMF Generator for testing the Modiewark proximity tester, providing a practical way to check the equipment as part of on-site preparation.
