Description
HRC2 Flame Retardant Softshell Protection
The Bool Softshell Jacket is designed for workers operating in HRC2 environments where protection from thermal hazards, cold conditions and reduced visibility are key considerations. This orange and navy jacket provides protection up to 17.4 cal/cm² while combining inherent flame-resistant properties with an insulated three-layer softshell construction. The outer layer is made from 100% polyester, with an inner composition of 60% Modacrylic, 38% Cotton and 2% Carbon. The breathable FR PU layer helps provide a practical balance of protection and comfort during demanding work.
High-Visibility Design for Trade Environments
The jacket incorporates segmented FR heat-applied reflective tape with an H-front and back configuration to improve visibility. Biomotion sleeve tape is designed to make limb movement more noticeable, supporting worker visibility when moving around active work areas.
An anti-static fabric construction helps dissipate electrostatic charge from the garment surface in accordance with EN1149-3. Inherent FR fleece and flame-retardant thread are used throughout the garment, while Nomex FR zippers provide additional flame-resistant components.
Practical Winter Workwear
Designed as an insulated garment, this softshell jacket is suitable for cold environments and winter work. A right-hand chest radio loop provides a convenient attachment point for compatible communication equipment, making the jacket practical for electricians, maintenance teams and other mobile trades. The Size S version is available in an orange/navy colour combination with reflective tape. Other sizes are available across the range from S through 3XL, subject to product availability.
