HRC2 Arc Flash Protection for Electrical Work
The Bool HRC2 Arc Flash Water Repellent Fleece Jumper is designed for electrical and industrial work environments where protection against arc flash, flame and electrostatic hazards is required. Rated HRC2 up to 10.6 cal/cm², this Medium-size jumper combines inherent flame-resistant protection with a practical fleece construction suited to demanding work conditions.
Made from 60% Modacrylic, 39% Cotton and 1% Antistatic fibre, the 280gsm fleece provides a balance of durability, breathability and protective performance. The inherent FR properties are built into the fabric, while flame-retardant thread is used throughout the seams to support consistent protection.
Water Repellent, Breathable Fleece Construction
A water-repellent finish helps provide additional protection when working in wet or changeable outdoor conditions. The fleece construction offers warmth and comfort without compromising the garment’s protective characteristics. The anti-static fabric is designed to dissipate electrostatic charge across its surface in accordance with EN 1149-3, helping reduce the risk associated with electrostatic conductivity. A concealed quarter-zip front provides a streamlined finish, while FR ribbing at the cuffs and waist helps provide a secure fit.
High-Visibility Design for Trade Environments
For improved visibility, the jumper incorporates segmented FR heat-applied reflective tape in a double-hoop configuration. It meets relevant Australian and international requirements for high-visibility and protective workwear, including AS/NZS 4602.1.2011 Class D/N and AS/NZS 1906.4.2010 Class NF and Class R. A left chest pocket provides convenient storage for small work essentials while keeping the overall design practical for electricians, maintenance teams and other electrical trade professionals.
