HRC2 Arc Flash Protection for Trade Work
The Bool HRC2 Arc Flash Water Repellent Fleece Jumper is designed for electrical and industrial work environments where protection from arc flash hazards, flame and electrostatic charge is required. Rated for HRC2 environments up to 10.6 cal/cm², it combines inherent flame-resistant fleece with practical features suited to demanding Australian trade conditions.
Made from 280gsm fleece containing 60% Modacrylic, 39% Cotton and 1% Antistatic fibre, the jumper provides a balance of flame resistance, breathability and comfortable everyday wear. The inherent FR construction and flame-retardant thread used throughout the seams provide protection that is built into the garment rather than relying solely on a surface treatment.
Water Repellent Fleece for Variable Conditions
A water-repellent finish helps provide added protection when working outdoors or in damp conditions. The concealed 1/4 zip front gives the jumper a streamlined profile, while FR ribbing at the cuffs and waist helps provide a secure fit during active work. The anti-static fabric is designed to dissipate electrostatic charge across its surface in accordance with EN 1149-3, helping reduce the risk associated with electrostatic conductivity. A left chest pocket provides convenient storage for small work essentials.
Enhanced Visibility for Electrical Worksites
Segmented FR heat-applied reflective tape and a double-hoop tape configuration improve visibility in low-light and high-risk work environments. The jumper complies with relevant Australian and international standards covering protective clothing, high visibility, arc flash, flame resistance and anti-static performance.
