Arc Flash Protection for Switching Work
The BSD Arc Flash Switching Coat HRC4 is designed to provide high-level protective coverage for electrical switching, maintenance and other work where arc-flash hazards are present. Rated HRC4 at 47 cal/cm², it forms part of a suitable arc-flash PPE system for demanding electrical environments.
Constructed from 325gsm fabric comprising 87% cotton, 12% polyamide and 1% carbon, the coat combines protective performance with practical wearability. Its navy finish provides a professional appearance for electrical and industrial work environments.
Designed for Practical Electrical Work
The switching coat is designed for efficient donning and doffing, helping workers prepare quickly when protective clothing is required. A walking slit at the rear of the garment provides additional freedom of movement, making it more practical when walking, positioning equipment or moving around a work area.
The coat provides heat and flame protection to EN ISO 11612 A1/B1/C1/E3 and welder protection to EN ISO 11611 Class 1 – A1, supporting its use across demanding industrial applications where multiple thermal hazards may be encountered.
