Suitable for circuit breakers with a toggle thickness of 12–19mm, this universal lockout provides electricians and maintenance professionals with a practical way to control access to the breaker during servicing, installation and maintenance work.
Its compact 125 x 63 x 40mm design is suited to applications involving large-type circuit breakers where a standard lockout device may not provide the required fit. The CIRUCL5 uses a durable nylon plastic body with a ZP metal set screw for secure attachment.
Durable Construction for Trade Applications
Built for regular use in electrical maintenance environments, the CIRUCL5 combines durable plastic construction with a metal set screw to secure the device around the circuit breaker toggle. Once fitted, an 8mm padlock hole allows a suitable padlock to be installed, helping prevent access to the set screw and reducing the risk of the breaker being unintentionally switched back on.
Practical Lockout for Electrical Maintenance
To install the CIRUCL5, clamp the device onto the circuit breaker toggle while it is in the OFF position. Use a small screwdriver to tighten the set screw and secure the lockout to the toggle. A padlock can then be placed through the 8mm hole to prevent access to the set screw and help maintain the isolated position.
