Description
Efficient Rescue with a 4:1 Pulley System
The integrated 4:1 pulley system helps reduce the effort required by the rescuer during casualty recovery. For every 100kg of mass, only 25kg of effort is required, helping make raising a suspended worker more manageable.
The system supports both raising and lowering the casualty, giving rescuers greater flexibility during recovery. It also includes a backup braking mechanism that can be engaged by the rescuer or configured to brake automatically, providing an additional feature during rescue operations.
Pre-Assembled and Traceable Rescue Equipment
The RES-Q Kit arrives pre-assembled, eliminating the need to assemble the pulley and rope before use. The static kernmantle rope features I.D. traceability in accordance with the product’s stated AS/NZS 4142 requirement and has a minimum breaking load of 35kN.
Two tie-offs are supplied for mounting the RES-Q Kit and allow the braking mechanism to be used as a standalone device without being attached to the rescuer. The complete system is supplied in a heavy-duty bag with shoulder straps and dedicated stowage for the rescue pole.
