The Cabac Pre-Insulated Bi-Metal ABC Lug 95mm (BMABC95) is purpose-built for terminating Aerial Bundled Cable (ABC) to transformers, switchgear, and other pole-top equipment. Designed for trade efficiency, this pre-insulated bimetal ABC lug removes the need for additional insulation or heatshrink, helping electricians complete overhead connections faster and with fewer materials on site.

Crimping instructions—including strip length, die size, and crimp sequence—are moulded directly onto the lug insulation. This makes it easy for installers to achieve the correct termination the first time, even when working at height or in field conditions where speed and accuracy matter.

The lug is also pre-filled with jointing compound, improving electrical contact and reducing the risk of oxidation between dissimilar metals. The result is a reliable connection that supports long-term performance in distribution and pole-top applications.

Constructed with an aluminium barrel and copper palm, the Cabac BMABC95 lug uses friction welding to create a strong, stable bond between the two metals.
