The CABAC Reverse Bi-Metal Lug 50mm² â 10mm Stud (RBL50-10) is designed for secure termination where aluminium conductors need to connect to copper equipment or busbars. Unlike standard bi-metal lugs, this reverse configuration features an aluminium palm and copper barrel, making it ideal for specialised installations where the connection orientation requires the aluminium interface at the termination point.
Manufactured from 99.6% aluminium and 99.9% copper, the lug delivers excellent electrical conductivity while maintaining strong mechanical integrity. The two metals are joined using a friction welding process, creating a solid bond that maintains reliable electrical transfer without risk of separation under load.

With a fully annealed metal structure and tensile strength of 110 MPa, the lug provides the ductility required for secure crimping while maintaining mechanical strength in demanding environments.
