The CABAC BL300 Bi-Metal Lug is engineered to provide a strong, reliable termination when connecting stranded sector or circular stranded aluminium conductors to copper equipment. Manufactured using 99.6% pure aluminium and 99.9% pure copper, the lug is friction welded to create a highly durable electrical joint that maintains excellent conductivity under demanding conditions.
The aluminium barrel is chemically treated to reduce contact resistance and corrosion while being pre-filled with jointing compound that breaks through aluminium oxide layers during crimping. When installed correctly, this ensures a stable connection that supports efficient current flow and long-term performance across distribution and heavy-duty power installations.
Designed for 300mm² conductors, the blank palm configuration provides flexibility where drilling or custom mounting is required on site.

During installation, the lug should be crimped from the palm end first, pushing the jointing compound through the conductor strands for optimal contact and reduced oxidation.
