The CABAC BL120-10 Bi-Metal Lug is designed to deliver reliable electrical connections when terminating stranded sector or circular stranded aluminium conductors. Manufactured using 99.6% aluminium and 99.9% copper, the lug components are permanently joined using a friction welding process, creating a strong and electrically stable joint that resists electrolysis.

The barrel is chemically treated and pre-filled with jointing compound, helping break oxide layers on aluminium conductors during crimping. This improves electrical conductivity while reducing contact resistance and corrosion over time. For best results, crimp from the palm end first to drive the compound through the conductor strands, ensuring a secure and efficient connection.
