Designed specifically for demanding electrical applications, the CABAC ALK120 features a forged construction that eliminates internal imperfections commonly found in conventional aluminium connectors. This manufacturing process enhances mechanical strength while reducing the risk of hot joints throughout the life of the installation.

Its barrier-type design helps force jointing compound back through the conductor strands during crimping, improving electrical contact while providing an effective barrier for oil-filled cable applications. A unique funnel-shaped barrel entry allows easier insertion of stranded sector cables, helping electricians achieve faster, more accurate installations.

Built for Maximum Conductivity and Long Service Life

Each barrel is chemically treated to minimise contact resistance and comes pre-filled with jointing compound before being capped. When combined with proper scratch brushing and centre-outwards hexagonal crimping, the connector delivers excellent electrical performance and long-term corrosion resistance.

Manufactured from fully annealed aluminium with a minimum conductivity of 61.8% IACS, the ALK120 is suitable for operating temperatures from -20°C to +140°C, making it ideal for harsh Australian operating conditions.
