High-Conductivity Copper Construction
The CAEC95 is manufactured from 99.9%+ pure copper to provide high electrical conductivity for earthing applications. Its robust C-shaped construction is designed for high-current jointing and tapping of copper conductors used in buried earthing grids. The connector is supplied pre-loaded with jointing compound. This helps support corrosion resistance at the completed connection, making the connector suitable for installations where the joint will be directly buried.
Designed for Earthing and Earth Rod Applications
This tap-off style C connector is designed to connect a tap conductor to a copper run or provide a connection to an earth rod. It accommodates a 50–120mm² run with a 95mm² tap configuration and is suitable for earth rods with diameters from 13–15mm. Once correctly crimped, the resulting connection is tamper-proof and highly resistant to corrosion, making it suitable for earthing networks where long-term connection integrity is important.
Practical Crimp Installation
The CCON range uses oval-shaped crimp dies and is designed for crimping with a standard 13-tonne tool. The connector’s pre-loaded jointing compound and individually packaged design help keep the product ready for installation.
