The CACC35 is manufactured from 99.9% pure copper, providing excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance for demanding earthing and bonding applications. The copper construction is suited to creating dependable connections between compatible copper conductors while supporting effective electrical continuity.
With a total conductivity of 99.7% IACS and total resistivity of 1.738 micro-ohm cm, the connector is designed for applications where reliable conductive performance is important. Its tensile strength is rated at 200 MPa, with a ductile rating of 40%.
Designed for Earthing and Bonding
The Cabac CACC35 is suitable for joining and tapping conductors and can be used for bonding connections to earth grids and earthing conductors. It can also be used for tapping off suitable earth and aerial conductors, making it useful across a range of electrical and infrastructure installations. The connector has an operating temperature range of -55°C to 155°C, supporting use across varied installation environments.
Tested for Professional Electrical Applications
The CACC35 has undergone heat-cycle testing to IEEE 837 Clause 8 and conforms to the ESI 43/92 international standard listed for the product. Its tooling is interchangeable between CABAC and Burndy systems, providing practical compatibility for installers using compatible tooling.
