The Fantech VCW254 is a 250mm commercial wall and ceiling fan designed for ventilation applications across commercial and light industrial environments. Part of Fantech’s Vogue Series, it combines a contemporary appearance with practical installation features for projects where reliable air movement and pressure performance are important.

Its versatile design allows the fan to be mounted in different orientations, providing greater flexibility when working around existing building layouts and ventilation requirements. The square fan plate is designed to sit flush against the ceiling, while quick-fit swing locks allow secure installation into suspended ceilings or plasterboard walls and ceilings. Pre-drilled mounting holes are also provided for installation onto brick or concrete surfaces.

Durable Construction and Practical Maintenance

The VCW254 features an injection-moulded ABS fan plate with a galvanized steel impeller finished in black powder coating. This combination provides a robust construction suited to commercial and light industrial environments. The grille can be easily removed for cleaning, helping simplify routine maintenance and keep the ventilation system operating effectively.

Rear access for wiring further supports practical installation and servicing. The fan is supplied with a plug and lead and can be integrated with ducted ventilation systems. A range of matching accessories is also available to support different installation requirements.

Flexible Airflow and Speed Control

Powered by a single-phase 230V, 50Hz supply, the VCW254 uses an external rotor squirrel cage induction motor with sealed-for-life ball bearings. The motor is speed-controllable and incorporates standard thermal contacts for internal protection, with an IP44 motor protection rating.

The fan is also capable of reverse airflow when required. When reversing airflow direction, air movement should be reduced by at least 20%. The VCW254 is not suitable for installation above cooktops in kitchen applications.
