Fantech Tile Exhaust Fan for Tiled Roofs

The Fantech Tile Exhaust Fan Series 31W TFA204E is designed to simplify the installation of roof ventilation systems on tiled roofs. Developed to suit Boral and Monier concrete roof tiles, the unit can be installed by removing an existing tile and positioning the fan assembly in its place. This provides a practical approach for electricians and ventilation installers working with compatible tiled roofing systems.

The TFA204E uses an external rotor, squirrel cage induction motor operating from a 220–240V single-phase supply. With a rated operating voltage of 240V and power consumption of 31W, it provides a compact electrically driven ventilation solution for suitable applications. Ball bearings support smooth motor operation, while the motor is designed for use in ambient temperatures up to 70°C.

Designed for Tiled Roof Installation

The Tile Fan Series is specifically developed around the requirements of tiled roof installations. Its design allows the fan to occupy the position of a removed roof tile, helping simplify the installation process where compatible Boral or Monier concrete tiles are used.

The cowl, base and inlet spigot are manufactured from UV-stabilised plastic, helping the external components withstand exposure associated with roof-mounted installation. Steel components feature a corrosion-resistant coating for added durability.

Compact 31W Ventilation Solution

The TFA204E operates at 23 rps and uses a single-phase, 50Hz/60Hz motor rated for 220–240V. Its 300mm width and 200mm height provide a compact form factor for suitable tiled-roof ventilation installations.

The unit is specified for indoor usage and has a maximum ambient temperature rating of 70°C. Always confirm the roof tile profile and installation requirements before fitting.
