Compact Design for Commercial Exhaust Applications

The Gamma Series is designed specifically for downflow exhaust applications, providing an efficient roof-mounted solution for ducted ventilation systems. Its compact, low-profile construction helps minimise the space required for installation without compromising the practical requirements of commercial exhaust applications.

A UV-stabilised plastic cowl provides durable external construction, while steel components feature a corrosion-resistant finish. Birdmesh guards are fitted as standard to help prevent birds and vermin from entering the ducting or building through the exhaust system.

Reliable Centrifugal Fan Construction

The Gamma Series uses backward-curved centrifugal impellers, which are available in plastic, steel or aluminium depending on the model. The motor uses an external rotor, squirrel cage induction design with sealed-for-life ball bearings, providing a robust configuration for ongoing ventilation duties.

Thermal protection is supplied as standard on all motors. Applicable units can also be speed-controlled using electronic or auto-transformer controllers, while most three-phase models feature a two-speed star/delta motor design. The series is available with 230V single-phase and 415V three-phase electrical supply options across the range.

Practical Specification for Trade Installations

The Gamma range is available in 12 sizes, covering duct diameters from 192mm to 710mm. Units can be mounted at an angle of up to 30°, providing additional flexibility when installation conditions require an angled mounting position.

The range can also be configured with shutters, while twin vertical discharge fan options are available where standby capacity is required. Airflow testing is conducted to ISO 5801:2007, and noise testing is performed to BS 848 Part 2, 1985.
