The Fantech Ezifit Thru Roof Exhaust Fan ECE204-BFC-29 is designed and tested for exhaust air systems in bushfire-prone locations. Compliant with AS3959:2009 up to BAL-29, it incorporates a bronze mesh ember guard with a maximum 2mm aperture to help protect the ventilation system from ember entry. Its compact, low-profile design provides a practical solution for roof-mounted exhaust applications.
Efficient Ventilation and Flexible Performance
A backward-curved centrifugal impeller provides efficient and quiet air movement, making the fan suitable for ventilating multiple points within a building. The external rotor, squirrel cage induction motor operates on 230V single-phase power at 50/60Hz and uses sealed-for-life ball bearings. Speed can be adjusted with an electronic controller, giving installers greater control over ventilation performance. The fan is also optimised for downflow discharge and can be installed at angles of up to 30°.
Trade-Ready Installation and Reliability
For electricians and contractors, the Ezifit combines practical installation features with specified bushfire protection. The galvanized steel cowls provide robust construction, while the included 3-pin plug and lead simplify connection. An optional powder-coated finish is available for applications when an alternative external finish is required.
