Description

The MT870 is a compact True RMS multimeter supplied with a rubber holster designed to be robust and drop proof. The meter has a 2000 count large easy to read display and is an auto ranging multimeter with the option of manual override. Measuring functions include AC and DC voltage, AC and DC current, resistance, continuity buzzer and diode test range. The AC and DC micro Amp ranges is suited for electronic measurements. The MT870 also offers the added convenience of 1.5V and 9V battery tests and a tilt stand. This meter meets the International Standard IEC 61010-1 CAT III 300V. The meter offers excellent performance and is ideal as a handy multimeter for electronic technicians and electricians, alarm installers and students studying electronics.
