Featuring a hot melt adhesive liner, the glove melts during the shrinking process to form a strong mechanical and moisture-resistant bond between the heatshrink material and the cable surface. This ensures a secure termination suitable for demanding installation environments.

With high tearing resistance and excellent tensile strength, the KEV335 helps maintain cable protection even under mechanical stress. Its durable modified cross-linked polyolefin construction provides resistance against decay, chemicals, and corrosion, making it suitable for long-term electrical protection.

The heatshrink glove offers excellent electrical insulation properties with a breakdown voltage of 16 kV/mm wall thickness and high volume resistivity of 1.0 x 10¹⁴ ohm cm. Its low water absorption performance helps maintain protection against moisture exposure.

Simple Installation for Trade Professionals

The Cabac KEV Heatshrink Glove is designed for efficient installation using standard heat application tools. Before installation, cable insulation and conductors should be clean, dry, and free from grease. Lightly roughening surfaces with emery paper helps improve adhesive bonding.

During shrinking, apply heat from the middle outward until adhesive begins to extrude, ensuring a complete seal around the termination. Avoid overheating or prolonged exposure to direct flame to maintain product integrity.
