Manufactured from 99.9%+ pure, high-conductivity copper, the CAEC70 is designed for applications where dependable current transfer and long-term corrosion resistance are important. Its C-shaped construction allows copper conductors to be securely jointed or tapped within an earthing network.

The connector is suitable for direct burial, making it well suited to underground earthing grids where the connection needs to withstand environmental exposure. It can also be used with earth rods measuring approximately 13–15mm in diameter, providing flexibility across common earthing applications.

Secure, Corrosion-Resistant Connection

Each C Connector is supplied pre-loaded with jointing compound to help protect the connection and improve resistance to corrosion. Once correctly crimped, the resulting connection is tamper-proof and suitable for permanent buried installations.

The CAEC70 is designed to be crimped using an oval C-connector die and a standard 13-tonne crimping tool. This provides a mechanically secure connection without relying on conventional bolted joining methods.
