Manufactured from high-purity copper, the CACD70 provides strong electrical conductivity for reliable conductor connections. The C-shaped design allows conductors to be joined or tapped securely, making it suitable for applications where dependable electrical continuity is required. With a tensile strength of 200 MPa and a ductility rating of 40%, the connector combines mechanical strength with the flexibility expected from copper construction.
The connector is designed for demanding electrical infrastructure applications and has an operating temperature range of -55°C to 155°C. Its electrical properties include 99.7% IACS total conductivity and 1.738 micro-ohm cm total resistivity.
