Aluminium Sector Lug (3 Core)



For solid sector 3 core only.



Aluminium sector lugs are available off the shelf in 120mm▓, 185mm▓ and 240mm▓. Other sizes are available on request and may become standard stock lines if demand arises. All lugs are standard with a 12mm stud hole and a larger stud hole can be drilled to order. The lugs are designed to fit solid sector Aluminium cables dimensioned according to BS3988-1970 and are compatible with standard Australian tooling using common nest and indent dies.



CABAC Aluminium sector lugs are made from 99.6% pure electrical grade Aluminium. The surface has been chemically treated to reduce contact resistance and inhibit corrosion. The barrels are coated with a jointing compound, sealed with a cap, and the lugs are individually packed in plastic bags.



Three indent crimps are required and the sequence of crimping starts at the line marked 1. Please refer to our technical department for installation recommendations and advice.
