The CABAC Bi-Metal Sector Lug 120mm² 4 Core is designed to provide a secure, low-resistance termination for solid aluminium conductors in demanding electrical installations. The aluminium barrel is engineered to accept sector-shaped conductors and is crimped using a âVâ shaped nest die and WW in a 13-tonne tool, delivering a solid mechanical and electrical connection that holds up under load.
A chemically treated aluminium barrel helps minimise contact resistance while reducing the risk of corrosion over time. Combined with a high-conductivity copper palm, this bi-metal design ensures efficient current transfer between aluminium conductors and copper termination points, making it ideal for switchboards, distribution boards, and heavy-duty cable terminations.
