The CABAC BL50-10 Bi-Metal Lug provides a secure and efficient termination when connecting 50mm² aluminium conductors to copper busbars or equipment studs. Designed for stranded sector and circular stranded aluminium conductors, this lug combines a 99.6% aluminium barrel with a 99.9% copper palm to deliver dependable conductivity and mechanical strength on demanding installations. A friction-welded joint bonds the aluminium sleeve to the copper palm, creating a highly durable electrical connection that resists separation under load. The barrel is pre-filled with jointing compound to break down oxide layers during crimping, improving electrical contact and ensuring consistent performance across switchboards, distribution equipment, and power installations.
