The Bool ARC-JACKET2-B-YN-S Softshell Jacket is designed for workers operating in HRC2 environments where flame resistance, visibility and protection from cold conditions are important. Rated for HRC2 protection up to 17.4 cal/cm², this yellow and navy jacket combines protective performance with a practical softshell construction suitable for demanding work environments.
The 360gsm three-layer softshell incorporates an inherently flame-retardant polyester outer layer and breathable FR PU construction. The inner fabric combines modacrylic, cotton and carbon fibres, while inherent FR fleece and flame-retardant thread are used throughout the garment.
High-Visibility Design for Day and Night Work
The jacket incorporates segmented FR heat-applied reflective tape to improve visibility in workplace conditions. Its H-front and back tape configuration provides broad visual identification, while the biomotion sleeve tape configuration helps make arm and limb movement more visible when the wearer is working.
The yellow and navy colour combination provides a high-visibility workwear option, with 50+ UPF protection also specified. The anti-static fabric is designed to dissipate electrostatic charge across its surface in accordance with EN 1149-3, helping reduce the risk associated with electrostatic build-up.
Practical Features for Trade Environments
Built for cold conditions, the insulated construction helps keep workers warm during winter and in cooler working environments. Nomex FR zippers provide flame-retardant components, while a radio loop on the right-hand chest provides a convenient attachment point for workplace communications equipment.
