Arc Flash Protection for HRC2 Work
The Bool Parvotex Arc Flash Coverall is designed for electrical and industrial work environments where protection against arc flash and flame hazards is required. This orange day/night coverall is rated HRC2 to 8.6 cal/cm², providing protective workwear for suitably assessed electrical tasks.
The garment uses inherent Parvotex FR fabric made from 50% Modacrylic, 32% Cotton, 9% Polyamide and 8% Polyarylate. The cotton component supports breathability and wearer comfort, while the inherent flame-resistant construction provides protection without relying solely on a surface-applied FR treatment.
Practical Design for Trade Work
Built for demanding work environments, the coverall features two front pockets, including a dedicated pen partition, for convenient access to everyday tools and stationery. A concealed nylon stud closure and two-way zipper provide a practical front fastening arrangement.
Two-way radio loops on the shoulders allow compatible communication equipment to be positioned conveniently during field work. The garment also incorporates anti-static fabric designed to dissipate electrostatic charge across the surface in accordance with EN 1149-3, helping reduce the risk associated with electrostatic discharge.
Day/Night Visibility and Compliance
The orange colour and silver reflective tape help improve wearer visibility in low-light and higher-risk work areas. The double hoop tape configuration enhances the garment’s day/night visibility while supporting use across electrical, maintenance and industrial environments.
