Arc Flash Protection for Head and Neck

The ArcTech Merino HRC2 Buff/Neckwarmer provides next-to-body protection for operators working in arc flash environments. Rated to HRC2 with an arc thermal performance value of 8.1 cal/cm², it is designed to help protect against hazards including fire, radiant heat, metal splash and electric arc exposure.

Made from XP Merino inherent fabric, the neckwarmer combines 50% Merino Wool with 50% Lenzing FR for a soft, lightweight layer suitable for demanding work environments. The fabric provides inherent flame-resistant performance while incorporating naturally anti-static, UV-protective and odour-reducing properties.

Versatile Head and Neck Coverage

Designed for flexibility, the ArcTech Buff/Neckwarmer can be worn in 12 different variations, allowing workers to configure coverage according to their requirements. It can be used as a neckwarmer or adapted for head protection and can comfortably fit underneath a safety helmet.

Flat-seam stitching on the inside helps minimise irritation and pressure points when worn beneath a helmet. Its lightweight construction is also suited to working in hotter climates where bulky protective layers can become uncomfortable.

Merino Comfort for Demanding Work

The XP Merino fabric combines the natural characteristics of Merino Wool with Lenzing FR, a wood-based cellulose fibre sourced from renewable and sustainable resources. This combination provides a comfortable next-to-body layer while maintaining the protective characteristics required for arc flash environments.

The fabric is manufactured in Australia, while the garment is made in New Zealand. The olive green finish provides a practical appearance for professional workwear and PPE applications.
