Description
Bushfire-Compliant Roof Ventilation
The ECE204-BFC is engineered and tested for exhaust air use in areas exposed to bushfire risk. It meets AS3959:2009 requirements up to BAL-40, helping provide a suitable ventilation solution where ember protection is an important consideration. The bronze mesh has a maximum 2mm aperture to help protect against ember entry while maintaining effective exhaust airflow.
The fan uses an external rotor squirrel cage induction motor with sealed-for-life ball bearings and operates on 230V single-phase power at 50/60Hz. Its internal auto-reset thermal protection provides an additional operational safeguard.
Efficient and Practical Fan Performance
A backward-curved centrifugal impeller delivers efficient airflow performance while helping maintain quiet operation. The fan can be speed adjusted using an electronic controller, allowing ventilation performance to be tailored to the installation requirements.
The galvanized steel cowl provides durable construction, while the low-profile configuration offers a neat roof installation. The unit is designed for downflow discharge and can be installed at angles of up to 30°. A 3-pin plug and lead are included for practical connection.
