The Fantech Gamma Downflow Series CE252D is a compact centrifugal roof unit designed for commercial ducted exhaust systems. Its low-profile downflow configuration provides a practical solution where reliable air extraction and efficient roof installation are required. Built with durable, corrosion-resistant components and a UV-stabilized plastic cowl, the Gamma Series is suited to demanding commercial ventilation environments.

A standard bird-mesh guard helps prevent birds and vermin from entering the ducting or building, supporting cleaner and more dependable exhaust systems. The centrifugal design and backward-curved impeller provide an effective solution for ducted applications, while the compact construction helps simplify installation where roof space is limited.

Reliable Performance for Ducted Exhaust Systems

The Gamma Series is designed around the requirements of commercial ventilation installations, offering multiple speed options and motor configurations across the range. Its external rotor, squirrel cage induction motor uses sealed-for-life ball bearings, while built-in thermal protection helps protect the motor during operation.

Depending on the selected Gamma model, motors are available for 230V single-phase or 415V three-phase, 50Hz power supplies. Most three-phase models feature a 2-speed star/delta motor arrangement, providing additional flexibility when configuring ventilation systems.

Durable Construction and Practical Installation

The Gamma Series combines a UV-stabilized plastic cowl with corrosion-resistant steel components and backward-curved centrifugal impellers manufactured from plastic, steel or aluminium, depending on model. Units can be installed at angles of up to 30°, providing greater flexibility for roof-mounted applications.

Airflow performance is tested to ISO 5801:2007 standards, while noise testing follows BS 848: Part 2, 1985. The range also includes twin vertical discharge models with optional or standard shutter configurations, depending on the model.
