Description

The Gamma Series centrifugal roof units are specifically designed for commercial ducted exhaust systems. These compact, low-profile units come equipped with bird mesh to block birds and vermin from entering the ducting or building. They are available in 12 different sizes, ranging from 192mm to 710mm in diameter.

Shutters are standard on twin fan models and optional for single fan models; the pressure drop across the shutter must be considered when selecting the system.

Most 3-phase motors feature a 2-speed star/delta design.
Supply air units are available if needed.
Construction:

UV-stabilized plastic cowls.
Backward-curved centrifugal impellers made from plastic, steel, or aluminium.
Corrosion-resistant steel components.
Standard bird-mesh guards on both downflow and vertical exhaust models.
Motors:

External rotor, squirrel cage induction motor.
Power supply: 230V single-phase or 415V three-phase, 50Hz.
Sealed-for-life ball bearings.
Speed control available via electronic or auto-transformer controllers (except CE316).
Most three-phase units are equipped with 2-speed star/delta motors.
Internal Thermal Protection:

All motors come with built-in thermal protection.
Testing:

Airflow tested to ISO5801:2007 standards.
Noise tested according to BS848: Part 2, 1985.
