The 08MM-T1 is a 75 Ohm resistive terminator for use in networks without voltage in the terminated line. They are commonly used in 5 Wire Multiswitch and Active Tap systems to terminate unused RF output ports. Terminators are necessary on end of line connections to prevent a signal from returning back up the line causing additional noise and interference.
